to think if you are going to do a Big Sort, you need to remember where you've put stuff

Our bedroom is organised chaos. We are saving to have storage built into the alcoves, but currently, everything is just randomly stowed in boxes and bags. I knew where everything was. Literally, anything I put into the room I could lay my hands on within a minute.

After a weekend away, I have come home to a lovely smartened bedroom. No extra storage (still saving), but looks neater. Except I cant bloody find anything

I had a wedding card made for a wedding we are attending next weekend. It is a one off with a quote that will make the B&G laugh lots. I knew exactly where it was.

Now I cant find the bugger. And DH cannot remember where he put stuff. Ever. Id rather have organised chaos that tidy confusion.

I feel your pain. Deep breath, big glass of Wine tonite while you go searching.

ooooooh, I hate that! One of my friends 'tidied' my bedroom once when we were 16. She is a shove in the wardrobe person, I'm a messy floor and perfectly organised colour coded drawers person. I didn't find some of my stuff til I was going to uni!
