I shouldn't be.

I have 4 DC's to get ready for school.
4 packed lunches to do.
4 lots of uniform to iron cos I am shit and iron on demand
4 lots of P.E kit I need to shout about it not being my responsibility.
4 pets to feed.
Washer to put on.
Dryer to put on.
2 dogs to walk
And me to get ready not look like a bush baby for work.
All by 8:45am

Forget it IABU. I should just deal with it. Grin

I am keeping myself awake but I am not sorting out the kids school bags like I should be for the morning

ColdTeaAgain · 29/04/2014 01:52

YABU and so am I!

DD sleeping soundly next to me (have resigned to cosleeping), there is no excuse for MNing at this hour!

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 01:55

first waking night shift tomorrow with a nurse and colleague so no chance of even a 10 minute cat nap on my breaks...

Thats my excuse for MN at this hour!

ColdTeaAgain · 29/04/2014 01:57

Good luck!

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 02:00

I can sleep all day though, which is good. I am hoping this is the worst night for it.

deakymom · 29/04/2014 02:16

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 02:21

Oh the joy of hearing someone else snore when you want to be asleep!

FunnyFoot · 29/04/2014 02:29

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 02:38

I usually elbow him increasingly hard until he wakes himself up and then pretend to be asleep!

FunnyFoot · 29/04/2014 02:47

Done that.

DH: 'What what?'
Me 'What you on about numpty? Go back to sleep'
DH' Sorry'

Rolls on side. No more snoring Grin

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 02:56

Well at least I will always be on nights. So my body clock will be constantly screwed the wrong way!

Jinglebellsarecoming · 29/04/2014 02:57

Well mine put a screw through a pipe doing DIY at midnight. EMergancy plumber has just left and now I have 2.5 hours left to sleep before I have to get up and face getting to work in the London tube strike. Mine is not so D anymore!

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 02:57

thats not the sort of screw you want at midnight.

Jinglebellsarecoming · 29/04/2014 03:01

nomore I totally laughed at that!

wyldchyld · 29/04/2014 03:03

Ahh, his are every x number of weeks... just get back to normal and BAM.

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 03:04

I'm glad I can make you laugh in light of such a fucked up evening! Mine would be in the dog house if he did such a thing!

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 03:05

Yeah I did waking nights once before for a few weeks then back to normal, its a killer I don't think I could do it.

Jinglebellsarecoming · 29/04/2014 03:07

I am so keeping this one in the you owe me category for when I next bash the car or something. Well I must try and sleep, gotta earn some money tommorown to pay the £££££ for the eMergancy plumber.

nomorequotes · 29/04/2014 03:08

best of luck, just let the sound of water whisk you away to a special place

redcaryellowcar · 29/04/2014 05:45

not that it would have saved you calling out emergency plumber but apparently it a good idea to keep a wooden golf tee to pop in the hole you have drilled in the pipe as it stops the water flooding out.
