to think Tangled is better than Frozen?

But the screeching in Frozen! And the entitled, bratty attitude.....!

Pascal is quite possibly the best Disney character, ever. He is so sweet. I love "Tangled"! DP and I had this same conversation last night at a family party where the DJ played "Let it Go" 20x...

Tangled is better

Elsa wasn't cursed, she was born with the power (as explained to the trolls) ans that's like asking why is only one child born with (insert positive and negative traits/conditions here) in any family.

I think Tangled is better overall but I love how my 5 year old will shut her 3 year old sister in a room and then sing 'Do you want to build a snowman'. This can keep them quiet for ages. It's my current 'I need an hour to get something urgent done' film and so of course I love it too.

DDs love spotting Rapunzel's cameo too. I find it ironic that the actress voicing/singing Elsa was in a non singing role in Enchanted (she played Nancy - the displaced girlfriend)

Bloody hate Olaf.

Frozen I want to like. I love the fact it pisses off conservative America for a start. That's just awesome. I love that its about sisterly love. All my kids love it, but especially my ten year old boy (this is something I am not allowed to tell anyone irl). Every little kid seems to know every word of Let It Go and there is something awesome in that.

BUT I do not love it. I find the characters just irritating and cutesy. Anna and Elsa obviously have exactly the same face with different colouring and hair and that annoys me greatly. Any situation where a young woman has eyes bigger than her wrists just seem to me like osteoporosis waiting to happen.

I thought Frozen was ok. Pleasant to watch, a few funny moments. Not quite sure they got the casting right for Elsa- I think Idina Menzel's voice is quite harsh for a Disney heroine.

I love Tangled.

Ironically I have just this second finished watching Frozen on Sky Store

I prefer Frozen, so does my four year old. :)
