Better songs. Better characters. Better script. Better everything!

I love tangled! Its hilarious:) I love the mother knows best song although the dc sing it to me if I get bossy.. And the song in the pub.

I can't stand watching tv and movies so frozen is on my list next time I feel ill or one of the dc is ill and insists on watching it/ me watching it.

Ploppy16 · 25/04/2014 23:34

Frozen is a lovely film but Tangled is excellent Smile.

Couldn't pick a favourite...love them both. It would be like picking your favourite child ??

IHeartKingThistle · 25/04/2014 23:50

Tangled is awesome.

'Though I do like breaking femurs you can count me with the dreamers...'

Come on, people!

curiousgeorgie · 26/04/2014 00:46

Tangled is too traumatic!!

A story of a kidnap victim clearly suffering from post traumatic stress who finds a man before she finds her parents... It bothers me when I watch it. Especially how the 'Mother' calls her chubby etc.

And also, how the king and queen have guards lining the room where their jewels are but put their newborn before an open patio door and don't hear a witch come in.. It's just too sad to watch!!

Frozen is good, my 3 year old is obsessed (costume, 3 sizes of toy & glitter cup come everywhere we go!) so it's slightly grating but the fact the snowman is Josh Gadd from Book Of Mormon makes it far more bareable Wink

steff13 · 26/04/2014 00:52

Not unreasonable, Tangled is definitely better.

PlantsAndFlowers · 26/04/2014 00:53

What's with the weird snowman - looks like he's from a different film. And the 'Transformers' style baddie. Weird.

IHeartKingThistle · 26/04/2014 00:56

No no, the guards are guarding the princess's crown years after she was kidnapped! They're protecting the only thing of hers they have left!

She saves him, anyway. She helps him be himself. It's all very lovely.

I do agree that the complexities of that 'mother' relationship are probably lost on children though. My DD (7) is still quite confused by the happy/sad/guilty/happy reaction Rapunzel has on finally getting out of the tower. And it's quite hard to explain!

musicalendorphins2 · 26/04/2014 07:45

YANBU. I enjoyed Tangled, but endured Frozen.

hiccupgirl · 26/04/2014 07:50

Love both of them but probably Frozen just a teeny bit more.

Igneococcus · 26/04/2014 07:51

I agree. I don't mid Frozen but I love Tangled. I couldn't remember a single song after having watched Frozen whereas the entire family would sing the Tangled songs for weeks after seeing it at the movies. I think Flynn/Eugene was dd's (6 at the time) first crush.
I like Brave better than Frozen as well.

X3512 · 26/04/2014 07:51

love tangled. Love the idea of frozen with the sisterly love thing but it didn't really work for me.

SquinkiesRule · 26/04/2014 07:57

I vote Tangled is better than Frozen too. Loved it.

contractconfusion · 26/04/2014 08:04

I haven't seen Frozen but we enjoyed Tangled apart from it resulting in DD thinking hitting her brother with a frying pan because he scared her (by making a noiwe in a quiet room) was a good idea.

CouldntGiveAMonkeysToss · 26/04/2014 08:29

YANBU, I prefer Tangled. Frozen doesn't really have much going on, it feels a bit rushed and I hate the snowman. He should have melted at the end Grin . I did still enjoy it though.

notthegirlnextdoor · 26/04/2014 12:36

Trying to explain Tangled - kidnap, possessive mother to my DDs aged 5&3 without terrifying them was pretty difficult.

Frozen, Tangled, Brave, The Incredibles and Mega Mind are the top 5 kids films played here.

ItIsAnIdeasGame · 27/04/2014 07:52

I found mega mind hilarious

picnicbasketcase · 27/04/2014 07:53

I love both of them. Helpful, ain't I?

dementedma · 27/04/2014 09:05

Haven't seen Tangled. Frozen was OK - the snowman was funny- but nowhere near as good as Megamind,Despicable Me and going "back' to Monsters Inc which was bloody genius.

They are both crap. I can understand why children like them but cannot for the life of me wonder whu an adult would like them.

BolshierAyraStark · 27/04/2014 09:59

DD states YABU-Frozen is a daily watch at the moment.

Have to say though I think both are great & don't prefer one to the other.

Also how can you not love Olaf-seriously wtf???

ImAThrillseekerBunny · 27/04/2014 10:02

Tangled is much funnier. Max > Olaf.

sassysally · 27/04/2014 10:08

I hate the horrible shouty singing voice of the lead in Frozen
