As they miss sold me PPI protection when I was in my teens and are now being really unhelpful when I'm trying to claim it back.
I have been a loyal customer for 20 years.

Loyalty gets you nowhere with banks. You always get better deals etc when you switch.

Be really firm with them and if their service is rubbish complain! If you don't get a satisfactory result, or they reject you claim then don't be afraid to refer it on to the financial ombudsman service.
