got the son round with his wife and 2 little ones. I had planned to do a full roast but my cooker is on the blink and everything is cremated and i dont have enough to start again! The DIL is sitting on her arse with a face like a smacked bum huffing and puffing about normally having a full Roast on Easter Sunday, all she has done is sit there and stuff her face with easter eggs.

As a last ditch attempt, I found some stew in the freezer which i can do with roast potatoes but she is grizzling about that now.

I wouldnt mind but there are here at least once a week and she always insists on a full roast with all the trimmings, never washes up and never suggests contributing

oh well, i have started on the cooking wine so all will be well soon hic!

While you're on the cooking wine, just open the window and check on your neighbour's windchimes?

Just give the kids a load of Easter eggs. That will be them happy and you will be free to just get on with the cooking wine as much as you want.

But what if your poor DGCs don't like sauce! Stew may not be popular

Think of the children!

Go MIL, now is the time for the kids to learn that eating sauce won't kill them.
