Urgent iPad help

Sorry sorry I know it's the wrong section BUT desperate to delete 2 films that are in the download queue from I tunes as I bought HD by mistake and want to start again.

I only have 3 films and 3 tv episodes already on the and not many apps so why is it telling me that I have so little storage! Also does I cloud store downloaded films from iTunes? So if I delete them off the iPad I can still get them back later? I am still such a novice using this damn thing!

All help and tips gratefully received!

Yes, if its on the cloud you can get them back later, and its one of the quickest ways to free up storage. Also, re HD/non HD, if you've already started downloading all you can do is pause it and buy it in normal definition and request a refund - if this is the first time you've done it then they don't seem to mind and its obvious that you aren't swindling them if you've completed the purchase of a normal definition version. That said, if you delete your current stuff off there then you may have room for HD

How can I request a refund? Thanks

By going to "report a problem" on the receipt which they email to the email address associated with your Apple ID/itunes account. They get back to you within 48 hours.

Haven't had a receipt of the extra cloud storage I mistakenly bought. I'm sure the problem started there!
My mb storage/memory appears to decrease but I'm not doing anything. Any other help anyone?

Can you nip into an apple shop and ask someone there to help. That's what I do when I have issues and no one can help me at home.

OhCobblers · 17/04/2014 06:58

I was "chatting" to Apple support and they advised taking iPad back to factory settings which didn't really help but yes I'll have to visit apple store but had been hoping to get it sorted before starting long journey!

you can't request a refund for films etc. if you bought by accident - done it myself when i thought something had language choice like dvd only it didn't - they told me they do not refund films etc

you can open up itunes on your computer and stop the download

Apple have sorted the download problem it's now that I'm showing as having 0 bytes when I've been deleting apps like mad and moving tv/films to iCloud so freeing up space but all it does is decrease rather than increase???? Aarrrgghh!!! I mistakenly bought more iCloud storage yesterday when it seems that's when the problem started

They do refund bought movies if they don't play/download. I have had this happen several times.
