To wear a charcoal grey dress with a brown tweed jacket?

It's a darkish brown with a lighter thread as one of the tweed stripes. Dress is a nondescript grey (beautifully cut though) and I think it works but am not entirely sure?

It's for a really important third round interview - don't know if I should stick to the black jacket I wore last time?

It sounds fine to me, and rather less austere than black. But I think we need photos to assess properly.

Do you have brown or darker grey than the jacket, shoes? I think it would look nice.
