AIBU to think that Nespresso should have a clear email contact on their website (complaint related)

My moan is 2-fold. Think I am about to go generic with my pods after some shoddy service from Yodel. I ordered my Nepresso coffee pods with instructions to leave the parcel in porch if I was out.

Well I have been in all day and I have just popped out only to see that the pods have indeed arrived but the parcel was just left half on my step outside my porch and looked as if it had been tossed there carelessly.

So then I go to send an email to let Nespresso know about their shoddy couriers - and where the heck is the email contact on their website? It is not at all clear and I've given up the will to search further. I could ring but am going out soon and am in rather a hurry and personally prefer email anyway.

Why not just provide a transparent email address? I think that has pissed me off more than the craptasticness that is Yodel.

Tweet them, DH did and got immediate response.

SlightlyJadedJack · 15/04/2014 15:29

And tweet Yodel while you're at it.

CaptainTripps · 15/04/2014 15:46

TY. Good idea. Will do that!

'Contact us' is on the home page. Scroll down to the bottom of that page past the FAQs, then there is a link to a form to contact them.

Most websites don't have a clear email address for conatct these days, as they get 'harvested' and used for so much spam that they struggle to find the genuine emails from customers.

I agree I'd rather have that than a (often badly-designed) contact form, but it's tricky.

DoJo · 15/04/2014 18:09

Hmmm - I am normally a big fan of easy contact, but their email contact form is only two clicks away from their homepage. It took me about 10 seconds and I have never been on their website before. So YABU, but I understand the frustration of not being able to contact a company by the method you choose when you want to (particularly when in a justifiable bate already!).

Contact us is fine, fast ans responsive.

They use Yodel, who are beyond shit!

I order pods and request recycling, twice they've never bothered to collect the recycling.

Yodel really lets Nespresso down.

Tweeting them is a fab idea. What's their tweet thingy? Anyone know?

TheSkiingGardener · 15/04/2014 20:10

They never bloody bother to pick up the recycling, and I was very annoyed they had taken their email off the website. Will go and find the contact form now.

Hissy · 15/04/2014 20:42

I emailed them and they got the bag picked up really fast. If we don't complain, nothing will get done.

Hissy · 15/04/2014 20:44

Of course, I hear that if yodel let you down 3 times ina row, George Clooney himself comes to collect the 4th bag...
