...they should either turn up at 12 noon or tell you they're going to be 1 1/2 hours late (and counting)?
I applied for a staff travel pass, which I can pay for via monthly salary sacrifice, on 17th March. It's supposed to take "up to two weeks" to process. The first payment came out at the end of March but no travel pass arrived. I chased it up over a week ago and got copied into a lot of "do you know about this?" emails but no actual update/progress report. In the meantime, I am paying daily bus fare so since 1st April I have been paying for my travel twice.
I chased it up again this morning and finally got hold of someone in the relevant department who said if I emailed a photo to him (that would be the photo I provided on 17th March then
) he would process it for me straight away and drop it off at our office reception at 12 noon. It's now 1.35 pm and still no travel pass. No "sorry, I'm running late" message either.
Our office is closed to visitors from 2.00 pm today for an annual Very Big Meeting so if he doesn't get here in the next 30 minutes it will be tomorrow at the earliest, and another £4 in bus fares.
