To have had tea and then gone out for a curry an hour later because masterchef made us hungry?

What did you have for your tea?! (And how did you get a babysitter at such short notice?)

I hope the curry was good, you've made me fancy a curry now

Famzilla · 10/04/2014 21:08

As long are you're both a healthy weight then I don't see what the problem is. Incredibly jealous of your pop up babysitter though.

fatlazymummy · 10/04/2014 21:11

Why are you asking? It's up to you to decide what you eat

ilovecolinfirth · 10/04/2014 21:24

Was it the plum-stuffed potato dumpling that did it for you?!!!!!

ilovecolinfirth · 10/04/2014 21:25

Sorry, thought you were going out tonight...you wouldn't have seen the plum pudding!

Forago · 10/04/2014 21:26

easily done.

FrancesNiadova · 10/04/2014 22:05

Jealous, we live 12 miles from the nearest curry house Envy

fatedtopretend · 11/04/2014 22:30

Was a pre arranged babysitter, we were just going to stay in and have a relaxing night and full sleep!

We had chicken salad for tea then went out Smile

Both at the lower end of healthy weights and exercise a lot, it just seemed so greedy to eat 2 full meals in one night!

YANBU at all. I watched it on catch up last night and made considered making a lasagne at 10.30pm

WhatsTheWordHummingbird · 11/04/2014 22:35

A chicken salad is a starter!

BoJolly · 11/04/2014 22:41

Am I the only one who wanted potato plum guy to go through - just to see what concoctions he would come up with in the quarter finals?

It was the best episode of Masterchef I have ever seen. Grin

To the rest of the contestants - enough of the figs and beetroot already !!

SuburbanRhonda · 11/04/2014 22:47

And there was I thinking DH and I were overdoing it by sharing a whole bag of peanut flips after dinner!

squoosh · 11/04/2014 22:49

Yes the concrete like potato and plum dumplings garnished with grit made me peckish too.

Jollyphonics · 11/04/2014 22:51

Out of curiosity, if you hadn't gone out, how does that work with a babysitter? Would she sit in another room while you had a nice evening? And stay overnight?

RhondaJean · 11/04/2014 22:54

I was assuming the children were staying elsewhere?

Jollyphonics · 11/04/2014 22:59

Oh yes, I hasn't thought of that

fatedtopretend · 11/04/2014 23:55

I don't live with dp, dd was at my parents and I was at his for the night.
