This is so absurd it must surely be a joke?

I know I'm not BU but seriously, someone else really needs to be told they are.

Shock that can't be real?! Sad

Allthequeenshorses · 04/04/2014 22:56

I do not know what to say. After reading it three times, I do not know what to say. Except yanbu that someone else is.......

Morloth · 04/04/2014 22:59

I am not inclined to defend the numpties who have managed this.

But I assume, when taking names his was given as one of them and someone hasn't really checked/thought it through.

The murder charges against a baby have alarmed Punjab's Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He has asked for clarification from the province's inspector-general of police and demanded "stern action" against the officials who registered the case.

Someone is in for a bollocking.

WorraLiberty · 04/04/2014 23:00

I agree with Morloth

StrawberryGashes · 05/04/2014 00:33

Looks like they already got a bollocking:

The assistant superintendant who filed the charges has subsequently been suspended

blahblahblah2014 · 05/04/2014 00:35

He looks guilty to me...

AgentZigzag · 05/04/2014 00:41

Why did they give him bail though? They could see he's a baby, why not just stop it there?

Bizarre.

Although the bloke next to the Dad is probably laughing along with the court officials at how ridiculous a situation it was.

He's very cute though isn't he? Smile

The age of criminal responsibility in India is 7 Sad

MyBaby1day · 05/04/2014 05:54

He looks VERY guilty to me Grin

It wasn't an April fool by any chance?

AntoinetteCosway · 05/04/2014 07:35

This made me feel ill when I first saw the story. If someone was bonkers enough to charge him, I hope to God no one is bonkers enough to convict him.

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 05/04/2014 07:48

That's what I thought, how has it even got as far as him being given bail? Why didn't they drop the charged when they realised he was a baby?

Hope it's an April fool.

Is it Stewie from family guy?! Grin

Pantone363 · 05/04/2014 09:10

I read this in another paper yesterday! The whole family was charged. Police came to arrest a family member and there were reports the baby threw stones at officers Grin
