Has anyone been to see it/taken children to see it?

Is it too bad? She loves superhero films and really wants to see it but I don't know what it's like.

TIA

It's a 12a isn't it? I'd say it would be fine for her.

MojitoMadness · 03/04/2014 19:35

I think she would be fine, although may be a little bored as it's quite long.

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 03/04/2014 19:38

Do you know how long it is mojito?

Thanks Smile

Do you mean the new one? My DD is that age and I think chunks of it would rather go over her head but I don't think it would do any harm.

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 03/04/2014 20:07

Yeah the new one

It would bore her. It isn't particularly violent or anything but I seriously think she would struggle to understand what was going on.

YouTheCat · 03/04/2014 20:18

It's quite long. The plot is too complex for a 5 year old and there is a lot of violence and scenes of torture in flashback.

I went on Tuesday. It was absolutely brilliant but there were no children in the audience at all and it was a tea time showing.

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 03/04/2014 20:19

Hmmm I think Tinkerbell or Rio might be a better choice then. I don't want to pay for it if she is going to be bored.

I was bored silly and I usually love the marvel movies. No way would a 5 year old sit through that

Hoppinggreen · 03/04/2014 20:52

I won't let my 5 year old watch the first one as I think it's a bit scary for him so I won't let him watch this one either.
I'm usually pretty chilled about what he watches but I've seen no 1 myself and I'm not happy to let him watch it

ZanyMobster · 03/04/2014 21:33

My just turned 6yo DS really wants to see it, he watched the 1st one at home but over a couple of nights as we didn't have time in one go so I am worried it may be a bit much (and possibly boring) at the cinema for him.

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 04/04/2014 09:07

Ok, I think I'll give it a miss. I don't want her too be bored.
