I tried veet on my lip (face lip) once, it burnt like fuck, and I was almost left with a scab. I'm not subjecting the downstairs lips to that torture.

No I did it once and got chemical burns that took weeks to heal...patch test somewhere sensitive first as downstairs is far more sensitive than elsewhere!!!
