That would be a loooong walk I think my Irish plan is top, but I suspect there isn't enough trade/freight to make it worthwhile.

Ooh, that would be cool! Love the idea of a tunnel to Norway. I'd personally love a tunnel to Denmark.
Being from Yorkshire, I think a great big tunnel under the sea from Whitby/Scarborough area sounds like a fantastic idea.
It'd have to be a bloody long tunnel, though!
Google tells me it's approx 500 miles. So maybe not that practical.
