Mother's Day

Last year, Mother's Day I spent the whole day disappointed and sobbing Hmm I had a horrendous experience with my own Mother, and often feel a slave. DH asked me what u wanted for tea at 6pm etc et

This year I woke up, made everyone breakfast and woke them up at 10am, told them every day was Mother's Day as u had such amazing kids. Happily cruised along all day and am now upstairs with a cocktail and face mask.

Told DH to do the lunches and uniforms and we are having a take away for tea.

Oh and I bought myself some daffs, gorgeous bubble bath and body lotion. My treat!

When you're a Mum, you have to look after yourself, nobody else will. So go and treat yourself Grin

Love this post! I was miserable as I didn't get anything but I'm going to treat myself with some cupcakes and restaurant food! Smile
