It all looked so lovely and rich, as did the ribena.

plus I'm fighting tonsillitis and this is an on the mend lamb fest Grin

I second redcurrant jelly. Worcester sauce and bizarrely Geo. Watkins mushroom ketchup (which isn't like tomato ketchup but is more like a mushroomy Worcester sauce) are good too.

Where were you when I cooked my first lamb shank a month ago?
I think it was wine, garlic, onions, and in the crock pot, not sure as I got sick and dh made & ate it. Cranberry juice & ground cloves on ham was an experiment that was a success.
