4 month old DS is overtired and screaming. Too tired to eat and too hungry to sleep. If I put him in the sling and walk he'll sleep for a bit but all my trousers are in the wash. Would I be totally unreasonable to go out in my jammies?

Ah just go, sod it! Just make sure you're warm enough, it's a bit windy here.

Given that it seems to be OK to go shopping, do the school run, go to the supermarket, in PJs these days, I can't imagine anyone is going to care.

Or tuck jammie legs into boots or wellies and coat on top- who is to know what you're wearing?

I found a pair of jeggings (I know, it's all that fits my flump - like baby belly) and put them on back to front. Go me!
