Friend recently split with partner and posted a status along the lines of 'if you are not fucking, feeding or financing me, your opinions don't count'

Now I'm not a feminist but really don't understand the sentiment- is it me?

I've seen this quote on FB before, it came up in my newsfeed when a friend 'liked' it. I did go a bit as I thought the friend was happily married and is generally a happy person.

I agree AF, feminism gets a bad rap and it's a shame people who really are feminist feel the need to distance from it.
