Wales is a big place Smile Which part?

ebwy · 17/03/2014 17:12

I'm sadly over the border these days, though from the kid walking around singing in Welsh you'd be hard pushed to tell... good luck with the meet up

welshnat · 17/03/2014 17:20

Sorry I did mention in my other thread....South Wales. I'm pretty much in the middle so can travel most directions.

SergeantJarhead · 17/03/2014 17:54

Cardiff meetup? Could be fun. Maybe get some lunch somewhere?
Seems we all like wine.
I suspect we'll all get along just fine hehehe

welshnat · 17/03/2014 18:12

Isn't wine the basis of any good friendship?? Wink

Cardiff is good for me Smile easy to jump in the train.

I'm in West Wales on the coast. Wine sounds good, Cardiff wine sounds a bit too far away.

NigellasDealer · 17/03/2014 18:16

where cardibach in a small town with students and a lovely prom?

DharmaBumpkin · 17/03/2014 18:18

North Walian resident here, though not a native. Anyone else in the South of the Snowdonia National Park?

Mirandafart · 17/03/2014 18:19

mum11970 · 17/03/2014 18:29

mamicar · 17/03/2014 18:33

south wales here. Bridgend. cardiff wine sounds good. or even swansea.

life is pretty hectic at the mo though so would be date depending Smile

welshnat · 17/03/2014 18:33

poorbuthappy · 17/03/2014 18:33

Up for Cardiff too.

MrsBradfield · 17/03/2014 18:59

I'd be up for cardiff also, work in Caerphilly so only a short train journey.

welshnat · 17/03/2014 19:10

Can anyone recommend a restaurant/bar for us to meet in? I haven't been for food in Cardiff for a very long time unless you count Cardiff bay.

North Walian here, I'm up for a wine or several :)

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 17/03/2014 19:21

Barry here (not born and bred). Cardiff is but a hop and skip away, 1/2 hour on the train.

Life here is hectic too with DH frequently away with work at short notice, but it would be rather nice to meet some fellow MN'ers.

Watto1 · 17/03/2014 19:22

SE Wales here. Always up for a Wine or 4!

welshnat · 17/03/2014 19:47

I think the obvious choice would be a Friday or Saturday evening? Or Late afternoon on Saturday? I am baby free from Friday morning until Sunday so I am happy to go along with everyone else.
