Use a pencil for addresses and phone numbers, OP.

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 17/03/2014 10:16

People have complained to me before that I take all their pages X due to constant moving... I think they gave up in the end! email/facebook is the way forward for me

Pencil is your friend here.

PartialFancy · 17/03/2014 10:19

I am a constant source of irritation to my nearest and dearest for this very reason.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 17/03/2014 10:19

nice shiny new address book, nice shiny new pencil and nice shiney new eraser Grin

Sparklingbrook · 17/03/2014 10:20

I think I need a new adddress book, and a pencil.

I had a look at some yesterday. There's not enough room for the 'address' in most of them.

My parents have 15 addresses for me in their address book - I don't think they have sent me anything through the post since address number 5!

specialsubject · 17/03/2014 10:22

address book here too. Doesn't need backing up or batteries. Great idea!

CoffeeTea103 · 17/03/2014 10:22

Address book? You do know you can store and edit addresses on your phone, PC etcSmile

BabyDubsEverywhere · 17/03/2014 10:23

A real address book? Like, not on a spread sheet??

Wow!

HomeIsWhereTheHeartIs · 17/03/2014 10:23

I think my Grandma would win this one - she needed a new address book after she had to cross out so many people when they died!! Talk about inconsiderate of them.

SooticaTheWitchesCat · 17/03/2014 10:23

It is really annoying when people split up and you have to cross one name out too Wink

silverten · 17/03/2014 10:24

You need a loose leaf mini Filofax address book.

Then you can have tidy pages, and get some really cute dividers, a nice mini pen, and have pockets for stamps.

Tis very satisfying.

Sparklingbrook · 17/03/2014 10:25

I know I am an old gimmer, but I do love an address book. I can open it and write the address quicker than switching the laptop on.

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 17/03/2014 10:27

Sootica how do you choose which one to cross out? Sad

TillyTellTale · 17/03/2014 10:27

Computers break. And costs hundreds of pounds in new parts to be fixed.

I like my address book!

Sparklingbrook · 17/03/2014 10:29

silver I like the sound of that. A pocket for stamps you say?

OP posts:
QueenofKelsingra · 17/03/2014 10:30

I love my address book, I cannot sit comfortably writing letters/thank yours/xmas cards at the computer, I can curled up on the sofa with my book!

sticky labels are useful for constant movers!
