For a mobile phone contract.
When I was 18/19/20 I ran up debts on credit cards, I paid for most my driving lessons and credit, I eventually paid it back but it was ages after it should have been paid back!
Had a few debts since then.
I applied for a contract phone as mine isn't getting renewed this month (mums contract, she gave me it 3 yrs ago)
Applied yesterday and got an email back saying to call the company for more details etc.
they called me this morning, the original contract I applied for was declined but they offered me a cheaper one (same phone as I have now) which tbh I didn't want to get rid of the phone, but maybe just get another so that was good.
Aibu to be over the moon that I can now start to build on my credit rating again 
after a shit few years!! I probably am!! Were in a better financial state to what we have been in the past!
