I had a tooth out yesterday and there were complications and it took 90mins. I am in so much pain still, mainly my jaw as I have arthritis there.

The painkillers I'm on make me sleepy so I didn't wake till two.

Dc Are at school and won't be home till 4 and DH won't be home till 7.

Housework is done, should I get up or not. Decisions decisions Smile

Sorry-just to clarify Blush

No-you are not being unreasonable to stay in bed and rest/recuperate

Mrswellyboot · 07/03/2014 12:25

Definitely rest. You will be all the better for it Flowers

ThePearShapedToad · 07/03/2014 12:25

Stay in bed: but before you do, make one last trip out to get everything you'll need- glass of water gin , choccies, biscuits, painkillers, magazines/tv remote etc

then stay in bed

Oh and order takeway for dinner too

GoshAnneGorilla · 07/03/2014 12:26

Stay in bed!

Rest and relaxation will make you feel better.

CattyBrown · 07/03/2014 13:17

Thanks for the reply guys. I'm still in bed and still in a tremendous amount of pain. One Side of my face is swollen along with my jaw.

Not really eating at min, but I'll make up for that in future.

You poor thing. Yes, definitely stay in bed. Do you have any pain killers?

cupcake78 · 07/03/2014 13:49

Stay on bed! I would if I could.

Coumarin · 07/03/2014 13:52

Can't believe you had to ask! Stay put. I hope you're feeling better soon. Thanks

olivo · 07/03/2014 13:55

Catty, I found codrydamol the best for the pain when the paracetamol and ibuprofen were maxed out. I know you didn't want to google dry socket, but have you checked that the clot is still there? Apparently pain that gets worse or doesn't go with normal pain killers can be a sign.

You must rest though.

CattyBrown · 07/03/2014 17:40

Thank you guys. I'm not sure if the clot is still there.

I've got Tramadal, Solpadiene, ibuprofen and paracetamol so there's no shortage of painkiller. feels like all my bottom teeth on that side are hurting.

I'm at the docs anyway 1st thing on Monday

still in bed feeling crappy. DH isn't happy about it, but he's at work and the only thing that needs doing is the vaccing.

I might have icecream later.

if I didn't have bad luck, then I'd have none at all. Sad
