West End. The bar prices are horrific. I'm going by myself which makes ms feel strange anyway. I've just noticed a small empty water bottle. Would it be terrible to make a gin and tonic up and take it with me?

If you can still get the £10 on lastminute it's totally worth it. Finishes on Sunday though

Go on, why not. I bring a drink into theatre & cinema every time I go. It was standard in my younger days & Ive no intention of stopping it now. Enjoy the show Smile

Fill your boots, chill as much as possible before you go :)

I have a very funny story about sneaking drinks into venues. A friend went to a music festival with friends, together with all of their dc's who were about 9. They smuggled wine in in fruit shoot bottles (I know I know). So, that was great they had a ball.

The next week friend got a call at work from ds' school to say that half the class were drunk because dear friends' ds had passed around fruit shoots that turned out to be wine. All the parents had to go and pick their ds's up from school. My df's dm had inadvertently packed a couple of --left over wine in fruit shoot bottles in the ds's lunch box.

Had it been me I would have gone ballistic. But they all really laughed about it. Confused

Each to their own [grin}

Given I paid £2.50 for a small bottle if water in a West End theatre on Friday evening, I would!
