RandallFloyd · 03/03/2014 00:02

Someone once told me that multiple exclamation marks are the written equivalent of jazz hands.

bodybooboo · 03/03/2014 00:03

'Derek the 'y with two lines' is the symbol for the Japanese Yen. It's like our .'

I thought when I read that that the y with two lines was called Derek.

'Meet Derek, the y with two lines.'

JohnnyBarthes · 03/03/2014 02:46

I think the odd ?!? is acceptable, especially after 'WTF' or 'eh'. I look at my previous posts though sometimes and cringe at the multitude of exclamation marks.

MammaTJ · 03/03/2014 05:17

I would never use 'would of', knowing full well it is 'would have' but do love the odd !!!!!!!!!

MinesAPintOfTea · 03/03/2014 05:26

I, thought, you , meant, silly, over-use, of, punctuation.

Not reasonable adding of emphasis!!!

myitchybeaver · 03/03/2014 06:29

I completely agree. I think there is a correlation between lack of vocabulary and intelligence and overuse of the exclamation mark.

More than three exclamation marks in a post = Poster is a tit.
