Due to the amount of lardy arse and saggy tit footage she has broadcast of me on fecking FaceTime to her 7 yr old friends. I can't walk out of the shower without her papping me.

OP posts:
ChaosTrulyReigns · 16/02/2014 23:05

7yo and porn movies.

No humour in that, I'm afraid.

Cravey · 16/02/2014 23:06

As her mother I think you need to take charge. She should not be doing that.

FutTheShuckUp · 16/02/2014 23:06

I'm far from humourless but seven year olds being allowed unsupervised internet access is no laughing matter really. God knows what else they get up to, your saggy arse is the least of your worries

Bogeyface · 16/02/2014 23:06

:o

I know what you mean! DD (12) was skyping her friend on her phone (and it was genuinely about homework, just for the pearl clutchers) and wandering into the bathroom (I have to get the lock fixed!) as I was getting in the bath, you know that bit where one leg is in and other out? Where the crack of your arse is out and proud for the world to see? Well it fucking was last weekend, she squealed and turned around to leave, so her best mate got a shot of me in all my glory over DD's shoulder. Luckily her mates mother (who she told, thanks for that) thought it was bloody hilarious and now makes a point of passing a message via her DD "Tell BogeyDD to make sure her mum has some clothes on" purely because she knows how embarrassed I was!

Cravey · 16/02/2014 23:07

I'm not humourless by the way, nor perfect. I would however supervise my child and maybe not let them use an iPad or iPhone unsupervised. Oh and not blame apple for my short comings.

AnyFucker · 16/02/2014 23:11

I have a shit hot sense of humour

but this is very far from funny

7yo's and porn, 7yo's unsupervised with very potent technology

it's a fucking carcrash, and there is no humour in that

Bogeyface · 16/02/2014 23:11

Just you wait? What until we let our children have unsupervised access to inappropriate technology? Not happening here

You do know that they will be at far more risk when they are 13/14 on the internet than they are at 7 dont you?

A teenager is far more likely to be chatting to people who they dont know, as "friends" of friends. Far more likely to take someones word for it that they are also a 14 year old. Far more likely to secretly meet that person because they have more personal freedom than a 7 year old. And also, if a 7 year old is using a family device it is very easy to check their history, check their chat usage and as long as you are in ear shot, check what they are saying and to whom. A teen with their own smartphone can do anything and you wont know about it.

So yes, slag off the OPs parenting if you like, but just you wait.

FutTheShuckUp · 16/02/2014 23:13

We are talking about seven year olds not teenagers.

AgentZigzag · 16/02/2014 23:14

'Bizarro.'

'are you pissed ?'

I thought exactly that reading it too Grin

And Grin at BF's arse crack, there's no dignified way of getting in.

AnyFucker · 16/02/2014 23:14

yes, there are risks of teenagers using technology unsupervised

what has this to do with the OP ?

it's a 7yo taking footage of her mothers tits and sharing it

is this meant to be funny, something we should just say "oh shucks" and think we have no control over ?

you can place money on that 13 yo having very much more fucked up boundaries if allowed to get away with this shit at 7yo

Joules68 · 16/02/2014 23:14

I second 'just you wait'

AgentZigzag · 16/02/2014 23:16

I'm humourless and nigh on perfect, there's no reason to use it as an insult.

waltermittymissus · 16/02/2014 23:17

Er...put a towel on? Or, you know, clothes?

Bogeyface · 16/02/2014 23:18

it's a 7yo taking footage of her mothers tits and sharing it

No it isnt. Its about her wandering around the house without realising what is in the background, in this case, her naked mother. Its not quite the same as taking pictures of someone in the nude and then posting them on FB.

FutTheShuckUp · 16/02/2014 23:18

This may shock some but even I had internet access as a teen and didn't go on inappropriate sites meet randoms etc. It's perfectly possible for teenagers to use the internet and not fall pray to grooming odd bods if taught about safety early on

AnyFucker · 16/02/2014 23:19

I waited

and yup no child of mine was ever allowed to treat me with such disrespect

they would wait until a cold day in hell before putting me in such a position

call me Cruella de Vil Grin

FutTheShuckUp · 16/02/2014 23:20

The op says she can't walk out of the shower without her daughter 'papping' her so sounds quite deliberate

Bogeyface · 16/02/2014 23:20

Er...put a towel on? Or, you know, clothes?

I was getting in the bath. In my own house. DD absentmindedly forgot the rule of "if the door is shut then its occupied" that we have since the lock broke. How is that my fault?!

Cravey · 16/02/2014 23:22

Just take the appliance off her, she is after all a child. You are the one in charge.

Bogeyface · 16/02/2014 23:22

Fut of course it is possible, the majority do what you did. But some do. And a teen is far more at risk of a silver tongued pervert who says what they want to hear than a 7 year old. And lets not forget that this is facetime, so they can see each other, not a random in a chatroom (do chatrooms still exist?)

ManifestoMT · 16/02/2014 23:22

Bogey thanks for that.
I had slunk off.
I don't think the pearl clutches understand what face time is. It's not uncontrolled access to the internet, it's an app which is linked to the ipad and my phone, which rings every blardy time the face time each other. Ie video chat. So I have a record of who and when they contact each other.
Unfortunately in their excitement of showing every yawn of the cat to each other they also forget what's in the background.
Thanks again bogeyface

We had to lay the law down with 9 year old ds over his sort of thing. He was left in no doubt that it was unacceptable especially considering that dh is a teacher at dds school & ds was face timing one of dds school friends.

We threatened to destroy all electronics if it happened again & set strict limits amour when FaceTime could be used.

FutTheShuckUp · 16/02/2014 23:23

I've no idea bf when I started using the internet it was yahoo chat and dial up Grin

AnyFucker · 16/02/2014 23:24

That isn't the way you phrased your OP.

Picturesinthefirelight · 16/02/2014 23:24

The kids use FaceTime because its free unlike a normal mobile phone.
