Took ds to see his grate grandma (exs grandmother )today at the hospital she's not long for this world ( few weeks at most )

First time I have been up there ds went with his granddad last week

So we stayed about an hour then before we left I said to the HCA who was tending nanna
thanks for doing a good job she's being really well looked after
Which she is in my view

The HCA then replied I hope you mean it Confused

I was like what the hell to my ds

Oh thinks maybe the other family eg ds grandad and gate auntie have complained

But AIBU to think that's very odd think to say

Perhaps they've experienced 2 facedness - relatives saying one thing to the HCA/nurses and then putting in a formal complaint?

Very odd from a professional stand point, as you would expect regardless of whether they have received complaints or not, they would not be permitted to comment about it/make snarky comments. Very strange.

Sounds about right from what I've experienced.

How unprofessional.
