Just that really - I found a large box of Thorntons toffee in a cupboard that I was clearing out. Is it safe to eat?

of course

we found a whole tin of terrys orange segments with a BB date of 2011. Could NOT get that open fast enough.

I'd eat it but I'm a glutton for chocolate

I bet you a billion malteasers that they still taste amazing!

lljkk · 09/02/2014 19:47

as bad for your teeth as ever. I'd eat if i fancied.

littlewhitebag · 09/02/2014 19:47

It's basically boiled sugar so i can't imagine it would go off quickly. I would eat it.

livenlet · 09/02/2014 19:51

I would and I would also think what a great find

Hassled · 09/02/2014 19:53

Sugar's a preservative, right? So it will preserve itself (that may be a lie). You'll be fine.

Well, that answers that, thanks Smile. It really is a big box, I think I will have to cook with some of it too otherwise I'll have no teeth left!
