Put a "no junk mail" notice on your door or just use them as bin bags.

Put a sign up:
No free newspapers, no bags, thank you.

NYANBU I feel exactly the same. However, I can't bring myself to put up one of those joyless signs.

Yanbu. But the bags come in handy for getting rid of rubbish and such like. I simply turn them inside out and fill them. Or save them nearly in their pack to pop in a suitcase to bring dirty laundry home.
