WIBU to go downstairs wearing ear defenders?

I'm at my mum's for a few days with DS, and tonight she has village panto rehearsals...

Cats bloody chorus. Out of 10/15 people maybe one can really hold a tune.

I'm hiding upstairs as there's no room left downstairs, and DS has been out to bed in DMs room as his bed is right above the bloody piano...

Oh gawd, now they've started "I am sailing". Kill me now.

Hangon.

Panto rehearsals, in Feb?

Are They Being Unseasonable?

RussianBlu · 05/02/2014 21:58

I think it all sounds rather twee. I want to have pantomime rehearsals in my living room too.

Are you in Devon? Feb Half term is Panto season for am groups in Devon.

LongTailedTit · 05/02/2014 22:46

Aaaaaah, feel so much better now the aural assault is over. :) They all left at 8:30 thank goodness!

Highly unseasonable, not Devon, East Anglia, but yep they have panto at half term here too.

It was twee beyond belief, and VERY VERY LOUD.

If only it was just panto tho - DM is also part of a singing group that rehearses in her house every week, so once panto season is over she's squawking along with them too. I had forgotten why we avoided visiting mid-week...

pantomime rehersal pah,
I raise you a Welsh Male Voice choir having an after concert sing song in the bar beneath hotel room. Loud but they could hold a tune very well
