For abuse of AIBU but I need urgent advice! My iPad keyboard has done something weird. It's gone small and has split in half,half on right side, half on left,and big gap in middle, and I can't think how to get it back to normal. Can anyone help?

It took me weeks to sort it.

And I sorted it by accident

I know! They manage to so alsorts to the iPad that I didn't know was possible...

I pinched! I can't believe it was that simple, thanks Heathcliff. (no stealth boasting, honest - it's a clunky first generation hand-me-down)

Pinch them back together.

To split the keyboard, pinch your thumb and finger together, place them on keyboard and spread them apart. To stick it back together again, put spread apart thumb and finger on screen and pinch them together.

Click into a typing window so the keyboard pos up and look at the bottom right button which has a picture of the keyboard on it. Hold it down and it will give you the option of undock/split or dock/dock&merge.

Chose dock and merge et voila
