Hopefully this is a rare occasion.

Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 20:56

brightnearly · 01/02/2014 20:56

That's not nature, that's nurture.

Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 20:59

Brightnearly- too bloody true, your spot on there

Logg1e · 01/02/2014 21:00

My spot?

HaroldLloyd · 01/02/2014 21:01

Actually I think that would be quite nice, like a Tomatoey cauliflower cheese?

OP are you a secret agent from the cauliflower pizza board?

Logg1e · 01/02/2014 21:02

I can't get my head around this. Surely you just say something like, "Love, I spent 2 hours getting everything clean this morning, would you clean the mess up?" or perhaps, "do you want a hand cleaning the mess up?".

Honestly, the housework-related threads totally bamboozle me on here.

RawCoconutMacaroon · 01/02/2014 21:05

We often use cauliflower as a rice alternative, makes lovely "special fried rice" but the mess of it! It's actually pretty hard to mince a cauliflower (ready to steam) without getting white bits every where! Not tried it as a pizza base, but have used almond flour, and frittata (thin sliced courgettes and sweet potato or yam base, lots of eggs poured on top) makes a really good "pizza" if you throw some traditional pizza topping on before baking.

HaroldLloyd · 01/02/2014 21:06

That sounds lovely too using a frittata base. And less messy.

Maybe you should suggest to your husband OP?

Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 21:06

Harroldloyd- lmao no I'm not a secret pizza agent but it did look nice lol Grin

Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 21:08

Logg1e yeah that's true but always get some kind of disregarding comment an end up doing it otherwise it gets left, what's your secret to getting it done by the offending party? Smile

OP posts:
Logg1e · 01/02/2014 21:10

I really don't know Mama! It just doesn't occur. I read these threads (and listen to my sisters-in-law make similar comments) and just feel so perplexed. I don't understand how it happens in a relationship and don't know what to say to you (or them).

Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 21:10

Ohhh frittata base, don't think DH would stand a chance, I would have to eat it all he he Wink

OP posts:
Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 21:11

Logg1e do you get your DH yomake speeches an do training days Grin I'm sure it would be sought after advise an life skills Smile

I don't know what to say. Tidying up after yourself is just part of being an adult. In our house it's part of being over the age of 4 probably. It's hardly a life skill.

How does it get like this in a relationship??

Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 21:18

Harrold Lloyd I like that plan, note to self to try it Wink

OP posts:
Mamagoose01 · 01/02/2014 21:20

Log, my DP was horrendous when I moved in with him.

Some people (not gender specific) are just filthy animals.

I had to take a HARD line!
