I wouldn't have minded so much but I was in a really deep sleep and my dd woke me up. Now she's asleep and I'm not.

I am a night person, but I don't sleep well when I do sleep. Have you tried melatonin?

@Chippednailvarnish. I'm in the exact situation. DD woke me up because her book which she insists on sleeping with fell on the floor. This was at 1.30am. It's now 4am and I'm still awake. I didn't get much sleep yesterday and I've worked so many hours this week. I could cry.

Toddler has been waking continuously several times a night for v short periods since she was 8 months old....she is now 3! Once I am awake I find it very hard to go back to sleep so I am permanantly exhausted.
