My DH bought me a £260 Gucci bracelet for my 30th, I don't have many indulgences but it was a special birthday and 2 weeks after DS had been born so he treated me. So last week comes and it's my first chance to wear it as I'm being taken out for a meal.
An hour into our meal I have re-tighten the bracelet 3x, I decide before I have any more vino I need to take it off otherwise it's going to fall off and get lost. So I put it in the side pocket of my handbag.
Today I got the chance to get to Beaverbrooks to exchange it, and told by the assistant that it's the bracelets design and there is nothing faulty about mine. I say when in that case this bracelet isn't suited to me and could I exchange for another. He went off and spoke to the manager and came back saying he couldn't do that as it has been "heavily worn". He inspected it though his little eye magnifier and said he could see a scratch and a bit of fluff from some clothing. I told him about the night it had been worn n he kept banging on about being "heavily" worn, I said it hadn't been but he said he would have to disagree
I am now home with my glasses and can not see a scratch, whatever fluff he has seen must of come off too.
I'm fuming, WWYD??
