Michael Dugher the Shadow Minister for the Cabinet office is expected to ask for an apology today for Margaret Thatchers handling of the Miners Strike.
More Nonsense from the Labour party - who instead of coming up with policy's keep coming up with drivel designed to engage in class warfare .
Totally pathetic , I say this as someone who grow up in a Stafford Coal town and who's father was a Miner , although he left mining in 1979 and set up a successful electrical company.
He always said a lot of the problems with Mining towns were to do with the fact that no cohesive policy's were introduced in the 60s and 70s as to how coal Towns would move on after coal become uneconomic.
He also says that Wilson and Heath were as culpable as Thatcher to causing the inevitable strike of 1984 and that "SCARGILL" is a disgrace and
if he had not tried to instigate a "REVOLUTION" a better outcome could have occurred .
I just wanted to post this to show how "Short sighted" certain people are in the Labour Party, who does bringing things up from 30 years ago help people today.....
