To be annoyed and not understand why some TV shows have such bloody long season breaks

And no, this isn't about my bitter disappointment that I will have to wait until April for the rest of the new series of the Big Bang Theory.
Ok so it is.
It is so annoying.

YANBU. I had a mini rage when it said that after other days episode.

I didn't even realise. I turned it off when the end credits started so missed when they told you. Wasn't until I noticed it was't on the planner......
Booooooooooooooooooooo!

What annoyed me was that they took a break over Christmas, showed 2 episodes and then said it was going on a break again till April. Why get my hopes up with 2 episodes then have a break again?!
So annoying!

Yeah but with American shows the actors hardly ever get any time off - they work all the time.

And it not like its a 2 year wait to see how Sherlock survived
