Just eating a cheese and coleslaw sandwich and it is honestly very enjoyable.

I wish I had cucumber to just finish it completely but my son has eaten it all.

I might ben have it again tonight on a jacket tatey. If only I had KFC coleslaw!

TunipTheUnconquerable · 27/01/2014 13:02

I like basics coleslaw best. All vinegary and nice.

ohhifruit · 27/01/2014 13:27

PrimalLass · 27/01/2014 13:30

Even better with some pineapple.

My favourite is baked tattie filling is tuna mayo, coleslaw and pineapple.

BitterOldOtter · 27/01/2014 13:31

Yes.
On a baked potato with crispy skin.

This might now be my dinner.

bigmouthstrikesagain · 27/01/2014 13:32

mmm... great on a jacket spud or as part of my hangover breakfast brown thick toast with beans, cheese and coleslaw yum

MelanieCheeks · 27/01/2014 13:33

Bleurgh. I disike most mayo-based things though.

OnIlkelyMoorBahtat · 27/01/2014 13:35

Cheese - food of the gods. Mayonnaise - nectar. Coleslaw - ambrosia.

Cheese and coleslaw/mayo - an abomination. Grin

But I am the only person I've ever met who thinks this, so I do realise that I must be the wrong'un here. It's just the the mayo component makes the cheese all slimy Confused

HauntedNoddyCar · 27/01/2014 13:35

Cheese and coleslaw sandwiches are really nice. Yanbu.

kinkyfuckery · 27/01/2014 13:39

Ah balls, I left a KFC coleslaw at my mum's at the weekend!!

Binkyridesagain · 27/01/2014 13:44

Vinegary coleslaw is vile. Creamy mayo coleslaw is lovely. Homemade coleslaw is even better. Just a bowl and a spoon is all that is needed.

greeneyes1978 · 27/01/2014 13:45

It was a sad day when M&S got rid of their cheese and coleslaw sandwich... Well not for my waistline!

heartichoke · 27/01/2014 13:47

Brie, gherkins and coleslaw on granary.... nom nom nom nom

Twunk · 27/01/2014 13:48

DH's favourite sandwich.

I like it if it has ham too.

Saucia · 27/01/2014 13:48

Cheese and pickle is much, much better than coleslaw

Cheese and coleslaw - yum! DP also likes ham and coleslaw sandwiches, but he likes the bog standard mahoosive pot of Coleslaw from Aldi and we struggle to finish it off before it goes off, even though we generally continue with it until about 2 days after the useby date, so I have started having cheese and coleslaw salad for lunch sometimes.

I was going to have one today, but couldn’t be arsed making it and we had run out of cucumber, but I think tomorrow, I will have cheese, coleslaw and lettuce/gherkin/cucumber and spring onion salad for lunch.

nicename · 27/01/2014 13:55

Chips with grated cheese (and ketchup) - now that really is the food of the gods!

SPsMrLoverManSHABBA · 27/01/2014 14:00

Nice I prefer mash with my cheese and garlic salt

Just had a nice ham and coleslaw sandwich for lunch. Nice ham and coleslaw from M&S. Yum.

TheListingAttic · 27/01/2014 14:16

YABU! It's ham. Ham and coleslaw. Cheese and coleslaw, indeed. Hmm

NigellasDealer · 27/01/2014 14:17

coleslaw = gross

capsium · 27/01/2014 14:18

Blue cheese and coleslaw is the absolute best.

SPsMrLoverManSHABBA · 27/01/2014 14:21

See my house is split. My 4 year old lobes ham, cheese and coleslaw and wont settle for anything less. I prefer it to be hamless and he thinks that's a crime
