Or does a buggy like this actually exist?

mameulah · 26/01/2014 17:04

I have posted here for traffic. Apologies if that is annoying but I have searched the High Street and online, I can't believe that a buggy like this is not for sale???

tandem - suitable for a tall two year old and newborn
good storage
easily transportable
good for the High Street and the countryside
with a removable and inter-changable car seat for the newborn

Anyone seen anything like this around?

What about the micralite twofold?

I'm not sure how it is in the countryside though?

FirstStopCafe · 26/01/2014 17:14

I'm

FirstStopCafe · 26/01/2014 17:16

I'm sure you must have seen it, so it may not meet all your criteria but my friend has a bugaboo donkey for her newborn and 2 year old. She lives in the countryside and absolutely loves the pram

BikeRunSki · 26/01/2014 17:25

Phil and Ted's Verve or Dot. I had the previous model to to Dot, the Sport. Had to get car seat adaptors seperately, and they do panniers for extra storage.

we had this for our twins. it was brilliant and the only sensible budget option we found. money no object - the bugaboo donkey everytime though!

jacks365 · 26/01/2014 18:04

I second the twone especially with a 2 year old since it converts to a single so easily. I know it doesn't appear to have much storage when used as a double but while the baby is so young it won't be a problem and very soon your toddler will want to walk everywhere.

TokenGirl1 · 26/01/2014 18:10

Easywalker duo. We love ours, great for town and country. Very large seats and our 3 and 5 (mobility issues) still fit comfortably in it on the odd occasion we use it. The seats lie flat for sleeping and you can have a carrycot on it or a maxi cosi car seat.

eltsihT · 26/01/2014 19:20

I use my uppababy vista with rumble seat and infant snug. Have 25 month gap between my 2 children been using it for 8 months with no problems.

Helped I had the uppababy before hand

likeit · 26/01/2014 19:22

Donkey

Princessgenie · 26/01/2014 19:26

We have an Uppababy. Need actually used it for two but bought it because you could.
It's an awesome pushchair!
Easy to manoeuvre; massive basket and the car seat and too pushchair are really high up.

Have you considered a single pushchair and a sling? You can carry a newborn very easily, by the time baby is getting heavy enough for you to actually notice her weight, the older one will be ready to walk with just the occasional piggy back or sling ride when they're tired.

mameulah · 26/01/2014 21:40

Thank you everyone! You have all been very helpful.

If only money was no object, we would then for sure get the Bugaboo. Will maybe get lucky and find one second hand!

Queenmarigold · 26/01/2014 21:50

Baby city jogger. Brilliant. I'm going to be selling mine shortly, pm me if interested!

timesarehard · 26/01/2014 22:04

I think you need a joovey.caboose. Seriously, it's the best baby related product we've ever bought. It ticks all your requirements and it is not particularly expensive. I can't do links but honestly have a look. It is fab.

I have the explorer and use their saddle bags on each side for storage.

MoominsYonisAreScary · 26/01/2014 23:41

I had a bduel, it was heavy and would be no good in the countryside.

I now have an phil and teds explorer. Id love the new navigator, kiddicare are selling it at £450 at the mo.
