fiance bought me a cheap ring, which I love to propose.
two weeks ago we went shopping to upgrade it.

got a beautiful bridal set? jad to order my size.

it arrived last week but was too big, so ordered smallest size. it came yesterday.

the engagement ring is still too nig. but the set together fits fine. they intrrlock so wedding band makes it smaller.

so new engagement ring I can't wear now. don't know what to do

Wear the cheap one until you get married? If you love it, that should be fine no?

StealthPolarBear · 24/01/2014 22:32

Superglue?
Or wear the cheap one till you're married

dietstartsmonday · 24/01/2014 22:33

My sister had the same problem, they had hers made as a set but the engagement ring was too big without the wedding band so she ordered these ^^^^^

Not perfect but they did the job for the 18 months before she got married. Otherwise, just wear your proposal ring, and think of the set as joint wedding rings.

HauntedNoddyCar · 24/01/2014 22:34

Or buy a cheap plain band to put on top to hold the good ring on.

dietstartsmonday · 24/01/2014 22:34

actually suggested even

OP posts:
Bogeyface · 24/01/2014 22:44

Why dont you take it to a ring design place and see if they can do anything?

dietstartsmonday · 24/01/2014 22:48

I hadn't thought of that will have a look and see if I can find somewhere

Fluffyears · 25/01/2014 15:04

I got the little plastic things for my rings and even though it fits better I still keep it on my ring now as I feel more confident that I can feel my ring on my hand. I'm terrified of losing it as it is 3 months mortgage!
