I have left my bank and have been paying my internet bill over the phone as i cant set up a direct debit from my other account and haven't set up a new one of my own yet (been using my mums debit card to pay).
Ive been paying my monthly bill as usual. I forgot last month that i had made some chargable calls so my bill would be slightly more and just paid my normal ammount.
Last week (Wednesday) my internet cut off. I remembered i needed to pay the outstanding (it was due 27th dec) so i rang them and paid it. Woman on the phone said that's fine we will lift the restriction,your services will be back on shortly.
When this didn't happen i rang back to be told that for sone reason the whole account has been terminated.the manager said he would set it back up but it would take about ten days, he also said he would look in to why it was terminated rather than a simple restriction be put on it as he said that is not usual for such a small amount (i owed them 20 quid) that was only two weeks overdue especially when id been paying my normal costs.
He said hed ring back. He never did. I rang today. Apparently the account termination was an accident, they meant to put a simple restriction on it. Its going to take until the end of next week before my services are back on.
I will be annoyed if they expect me to pay for services ive not been using and i was wondering if I would BU to ask for some money off my next bill.
I am stuck using mobile wifi and i am not happy about it.
