To have eaten a whole big bar of Nestle Crunch during a night feed

Seriously. Where the f did that bad boy disappear to? I thought it would last me three or four nights' worth of feeds. One minute I'm just having one more square, the next my hand is patting on an empty wrapper...

Still, it's all going straight into the milk and through to DS, right? So it's not really that bad?

purpleaura · 20/01/2014 05:11

Go for it op! I got through a lot of dairy milk in those early days of bfing. I figured I deserved it :)

Unimaginativecow · 20/01/2014 05:31

YANBU crunch is a weird shaped bar so difficult to even out into portions - plus it is too damn good to just stop eating!

Katekate77 · 20/01/2014 07:50

YANBU. Crunch bars do not keep very well at all once opened so you did the right thing. All the calories will have gone straight to your little one too, plus you will have burnt extra ones patting the empty wrapper Smile

Yum

Katekate77 · 20/01/2014 07:51

The cadburys marvellous creations had just been launched when I was BFing. Destroyed many family sized bars of those!!!

PMDD · 20/01/2014 07:53

I think you are totally unreasonable, disgusting. It should have been Cadbury's. Nestle chocolate is revolting.

nvrgooglenkdShiaLaBoeuffTigga · 20/01/2014 08:37

YABU it's Nestlé and therefore evil Grin

IMissAeroTiggaxx

puntasticusername · 20/01/2014 09:38

Ha. I knew someone would point out that Nestlé is evil. I was already feeling guilty about that actually...but like the others said, it's so damn GOOD...and yes, what is with the weird non square squares? Does not help portion control AT ALL.

Guilt is for losers. Hope it was nice. I want one now and I am not feeding a child. I am however coping with a teen - so I may deserve one!

bonkersLFDT20 · 20/01/2014 09:42

My PFB was born a week before Easter. I put my success of BF down to the copious amount of chocolate I ate while sitting up at 3am feeding him.

You are BU to eat Nestle though.

LittleMissGreen · 20/01/2014 10:18

YABU - but only because it is Nestle... YANBU on the chocolate front :)

PesoIsMyFavourite · 20/01/2014 10:21

Yanbu, I've got a serious case of BF munchies at the moment, and ds is nine months old!

cpic · 20/01/2014 10:25

I used to have a packet of mini cheddars on standby for the night shift... bfing makes me ravenous, way more so than pg.

HesterShaw · 20/01/2014 10:44

YABU for eating Nestle Wink

coldplumporridge · 20/01/2014 10:48

no, but watch out. I got two cavities in my teeth after a years breastfeeding because of eating chocolate then falling asleep without brushing teeth Sad

whiteblossom · 20/01/2014 10:54

yanbu. after I gave birth my friend bought me gift bag full of cadburys crème eggs, caramel eggs, mars eggs she said "you'll need them" Grin she was right!

summertimeandthelivingiseasy · 20/01/2014 10:57

I used to do this mars bars, with DS1 - really needed the free dental care afterwards!!

Keep those teeth brushed and flossed.
