My aged car only picks up two stations, R2 and our local one. Last night I was getting miffed iwht local so listened to her.
What a load of self indulgent shite she spouts.
AIBU to wonder why she is employed?

i think she's funny, can do without the phone ins who cares what marjorie from lincoln is having for tea, enjoy her show though she's just entertaining

I don't mind her and she could be one of my friends. Better than some of the presenters on Radio 1.

I like her too, and totally agree about the awful phone-ins. They give really boring people far too much time to drone on about their dreadful year (they lost a roof tile, their appraisal at work wasn't quite as brilliant as they expected, Tesco stopped stocking their favourite battenburg and the budgie died suspected suicide ), but hearing Neil Sedaka would really cheer them up.

Liza's pretty funny. She's bright and cheerful.

I prefer her to some of the other presenters on Radio 2. I enjoy her show when I'm cooking dinner on a Saturday evening.

Dads and I can't stand her. We have an activity which involves an hour-long round trip at that time on a Saturday and the second DD2-11 hears her voice she insists that I change the station. She is so up herself. And we didn't like her on QI the other night either.

I had the misfortune to listen to her radio show a few time when she's stood in for somebody good. She is fucking awful. I heard her introduce a phone in idea with the phrase "I know a good game we can play...". It made her sound like an Auntie Wendy trying to keep some young children entertained. She's like that all the time and that is not the sort of relationship I want with my disc jockey.

She just ain't got it.

I think she's great! I would like it if she were on the air more often. I rarely get to hear the show but really enjoy it when she's on, she makes me laugh :)

I'm on a roll now. Elaine twinkle toes Paige was fucking dreadful yesterday too.
I couldn't tolerate the dedications to 'Maud and the ever reliable tappers and shufflers of Scarborough whose renditions of blue birds held their audience of residents of cozy nook spellbound for over five hours' Well done girls.

I love listening to her.

I think she's great - loved her on Big Breakfast too, think she's very funny and have never thought she was 'self indulgent'. Also love Sarah Cox. - very funny.

I like Liza but you're right about Elaine Paige.

Her snorty luvvy laugh with her awful obscure 'songs from the shows' makes me hit the off button.

I'd rather drive in total stoney silence than listen to her.

I think she's pretty funny myself.

She does the best with the material that she's got to work with (dullards on the phone and a cruddy playlist). She is infinitely better than majority of other presenters on radio 2. She's actually quite funny on Radio 4.

Personally I think she's great when in more of a discussion type scenario with other presenters, I'm not entertained when it's just her by herself doing shows.

I am sure that followers and call ins to lizas show are the bottom of the food chain....what a load of dribble! ... it is more than likely that the Samaritans have already hung up on them....leaving them only the liza tarbuck radio 2 option....

I'm an R2 fan but I cannot stand her. I have to switch the radio off!
She talks utter shite and get people to phone in to fill the show, talks to them for far longer than necessary cos she has nothing to say!

Like Liza and find her voice really comforting.

Sorry, I find her show awful to listen too - I had the misfortune of listening to a phone about food (I can't remember the exact details) a few weeks; it was dire.

I'm not a fan of Sara Cox either though.

Yes I hate her too, definately makes me turn off.
along with ken Bruce, Sarah cox, tony Blackburn and anyone who stands in for Chris Evans at breakfast because I just can't tolerate anyone else at that time in the morning (including my own family )
