Have been co-sleeping with 19 month old since birth. I enjoy it but miss sleeping on my front with boobs away immensely! Dp is taking her to his mum's on Friday night to sleep as I have loads of work to do - first time I've ever been away from her at night. Seven year old dd squealed with excitement when I told her and has decided we're: bike-riding the three miles home from school, going out for tea, making cakes and popcorn and watching a film, having a candlelit bath together then she's coming for a sleepover in my bed...! So while work will get done while she's sleeping my peaceful evening and starfishing in bed is completely out of the window. Aibu to be unable to say no to her excited little face? She has been SO great since demanding toddler was born.

Totally not being unreasonable-how lovely that you and your 7yr old have such a close bond. Another few years and you may have neither wanting to come into your bed for cuddles...enjoy!

I let my eight year old come in about once a month. Any more than that and we'll be back to sleeping in the same bed all the time. It is sweet though that that should be her priority.

You don't have to say 'No' to it all - decide what you are prepared to do, and what you aren't, and tell her what she can and can't have. Even if you only do half of her list, it would still be lots of fun and plenty of treats for her, wouldn't it.
