The guy in the Thompsons advertisement before he sheds his ogreness?

He sort of looks sweet but like he'd give you a good time in the sack??

Or am I just weird?

Sparklingbrook · 12/01/2014 09:42

Madamecastafiore · 12/01/2014 10:44

Do you think he reverts back to Ogre in the rush hour the day they get back?

Madamecastafiore · 12/01/2014 11:55

Probably the minute the plane touches down if DH is anything to go by Grin.

I am fine at home but an ogre on holiday, everyday life is less stressful than all the holiday palava for me. Gawd and spending 24 hours a day with DH and all the sprogs!!

Oh god that advert is the worst.
YABU

Sparklingbrook · 12/01/2014 11:56

That's true actually. I find holidays way more stressful than being at home.

Sparklingbrook · 12/01/2014 11:57

I feel sick when his horns fall off Thursday.

ThursdayLast · 12/01/2014 12:01

Yeah it's grim.
And I agree with the holiday stress too.
But why is the mum not a bit ogre-y? Is her life so perfect?

Sparklingbrook · 12/01/2014 12:02

She is obviously a SAHM and leads the life of riley Thursday. Grin

JeanSeberg · 12/01/2014 12:03

Ooh can you link to a pic?

Sparklingbrook · 12/01/2014 12:06

Madamecastafiore · 12/01/2014 12:07

Sparkly how can you say that, he is a cute ogre!

Stupid bitch, making poor ogre man work all the hours god sends, depriving him of quality time with his daughter Wink
On second thoughts OP YANBU, he needs you to take better care of him

Icelollycraving · 12/01/2014 12:07

I love this advert. Kind of sums up dh on holiday.

Ooooh, my first ever accidental double post.
Another MN rite of passage complete Grin

Madamecastafiore · 12/01/2014 12:10

I was trying to think how I would take care of him as an ogre better but all I could think of was I'd oil his horns every night for him.

Phnar phnar!!

Wish I had an arse like her.

JeanSeberg · 12/01/2014 12:28

I'm with you Sparkling, it's a No from me too!

Madamecastafiore · 12/01/2014 16:29

Poor poor Holiday Ogre Man.

I can't believe I am the only woman to find him attractive . Sad

OP posts:
Whiskwarrior · 12/01/2014 16:35

Are we actually talking about finding him attractive in his ogre form?

Because yegads no!

OP, are you actually Princess Fiona?

StripyPenguin · 12/01/2014 16:39

No, not in either form. Now if he looked like Steve Backshall, well..... Blush

IDugUpADiamond · 12/01/2014 16:40

I kind of know what you mean OP because in every re incarnation of 'Beauty and the Beast' I always find the beast strangely appealing in a looks sweet but like he'd give you a good time in the sack kind of manner.

LyndaCartersBigPants · 12/01/2014 16:50

Ha! Madam, my dd said he looked like DP - lucky me eh?!

In DP's defence, he is much more conventionally attractive than the ogre, but I see what she means...and he is lovely and great in the sack!

Madamecastafiore · 12/01/2014 16:52

No, am not Princess Fiona!

Yes, sweet ogre who would be thrilled and grateful at anything you did for him and would be bloody great in the sack. Grin
