This has really pissed me off at the end when the woman mentions the "salami" slicer alluding to cutting off her ex's penis.

Everyone would be up in arms if it was a group of blokes alluding to being physically harmful to a ladies genitals/breasts.

Domestic abuse is not funny and should not be joked about in the media whatever gender you are.

Hideous advert.

Women cackling like witches at other's misfortune.

Cheesyslice · 10/01/2014 20:00

It's fucking horrendous. As is the publication (I imagine - does anyone actually read it?)

You're right; gender reversed, that would cause uproar.

MarmaladeBatkins · 10/01/2014 20:03

Oh no! GazBaz is going to get his manhood chopped off! Sad

I do hope she cooked him a slap-up roast with all the trimmings to say sorry.

StickEmUpBigStyle · 10/01/2014 20:04

Stupid suit blokes think is is what women want.

This advert was not made up by a women.

I bet you a Hundred pounds.

BuffyxSummers · 10/01/2014 20:06

Horrible advert, horrible magazine.

Paper version of Jeremy Kyle.

BohemianGirl · 10/01/2014 20:06

I thought it was a trailer for ""Loose Women""

Gossipmonster · 10/01/2014 20:22

Does anyone actually buy it and believe it?

OP posts:
Whiskwarrior · 10/01/2014 20:24

Does anyone actually buy it and enjoy reading it?

I don't understand anyone who goes out of their way to enjoy reading about other people's misery like this.

It's ghoulish really.

Thatisall · 10/01/2014 20:33

Horrid. I wonder whether it was ad lib or whether those lines were given to these women?

Punkatheart · 10/01/2014 20:33

i won a cruise with Take a Break once. It was lying around (my father used to do the puzzles.) I am ashamed.

Advert too is hideous - makes me ashamed to be a woman when I see how we are portrayed, like braying horses.

Tullahulla · 10/01/2014 20:35

Oh it's so cringe! I'm like bohemian, thought it wS something to do with loose women, which is equally cringe!

It's a showing up to women, no wonder men think we're daft!

hickorychicken · 10/01/2014 21:21

I was in take a break once, i choppbed off the ex's manhood with a salami slicer Grin

Jinsei · 10/01/2014 21:27

It's a dreadful advert. I can't believe that it makes anyone want to buy the magazine!

hickorychicken · 10/01/2014 21:32

I buy it for the puzzles, its a bit grim for the stories Blush
