Who is totally wide awake again and drive to macdonalds don't judge because I'm very hormonal, and really fancy one of their cheeseburgers and very salty fries.

I had this last pregnancy, very early on then went to my usual more healthy self.

It may even get this non sleeping baby to sleep. Which is another issue entirely...

As long as you stop by mine and drop in a double cheeseburger, fries and a milkshake to dip them in

I often found myself in the car of an evening trying to get my eldest to sleep as a baby…Mcds too? Absolutely.

Just got back..

Bloody dual carriageway closed so a 4/5 mile trip ended up 7 around back lanes I've never been to. I hadn't a clue where I was going and my phones sat nav was cheerily telling me which way, but battery was running out and I felt like I was in a shit american wrong turn type film

But 2 cheeseburgers some salty fries later and I'm happy.

Except the baby is still wide awake

Sorry OP I think your baby maybe has a fault, I thought they all slept on car journeys. I have known people drive just to get their little darling to sleep.

My baby doesn't fall asleep in the car very often. He's more likely to cry and strain to get out.

So I'm jealous of you folk who just chuck baby in car and drive merrily to McDonalds. Therefore you must do it often, since I'll never be able to.

I found the best wway to survive early pregnancy was to indulge whatever (non) cullinary whim took my fancy as soon as possible. DS2 looked like he was going to be called Greggs for a few weeks.
