Aibu to put Ds to bed with his favourite toy even though it's been down the toilet this evening?

Ds (22mo) has a teddy which goes everywhere with him and is fairly essential to his sleep routine. This evening just before teeth and sleeping bag time ds plonks said teddy in the loo. Luckily only the leg was wet and I had just done my weekly mega scrub/disinfect of the toilet and no one had used it since (all chemicals washed away though) so I just poured very hot (just off boiling) water over the teddies leg, dried it the best I could and put it to bed with him. What do you reckon? Sensible or too slapdash?

I think I'd sneak in, take it and bung it in the washing machine, tumble dry then ninja put it back.

It'll be fine.

Very sensible.

LittleBearPad · 06/01/2014 19:41

In those specific circumstances sensible.

Sensible. Although i would also do the quick 'steal, wash, tumble, return' routine once he is asleep, just to be on the safe side.

noblegirafe should change her name to something ninja based!

Same as noble and buy a spare teddy tomorrow morning.
