No I just booked a holiday in July and am looking for August. It's fine.

OddBoots · 04/01/2014 22:22

It depends what you mean by plan - maybe planning every meal and activity might be too much but general plans, no.

DENMAN03 · 04/01/2014 22:31

Ive booked my October holiday already. Virgin are doing a sale on their flights and I got a cracking deal.

QuintessentialShadows · 04/01/2014 22:31

I am planning for dh to take the kids to see his mum in Warsaw from Saturday to Tuesday, and from Wednesday to Friday a water sports center activity.

Oh, where are you flying with Virgin, Denman!?

I've booked both holidays and my AL at work. We're not going on the second one until August!

Never too early :) it gives you something to look forward too!

GwendolineMaryLacey · 04/01/2014 22:35

No, we've just booked Cornwall for that half term. Can't wait.

QuintessentialShadows · 04/01/2014 22:37

Our problem is that I have a home exam for my MBA during the May half term.... I cant really partake in half term fun much...

No I booked our May Half Term Holiday Cottage last September. Grin

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 04/01/2014 22:40

I've already booked Legoland for October half term - there are some good deals to be had if you can book early.

FryOneFatManic · 04/01/2014 22:45

As DH and I work in places where you need to get holiday time booked early, it's not too late in my eyes to be planning that far ahead.

CatAmongThePigeons · 04/01/2014 22:47

DH has to book his AL the September before, so I've been planning this year already. Our summer holiday has been booked and I'm trying to fit a weekend break in around planning to decorate (yes, I'm planning his AL Blush

mummymeister · 04/01/2014 23:26

definitely not. the changes made by the wonderful Mr Gove stopping leave in term time have had a big effect on bookings with everyone I know booking months and months earlier because of it for both home and abroad holidays.

MagratGarlik · 04/01/2014 23:29

No, our summer holiday in August was booked in October - better selection if you book early.

Lilacroses · 04/01/2014 23:29

Not at all, just booked a break for us in August. I love doing it now. It gives you something to work towards and get excited about.
