Prompted by the recent thread re disabled loo, another MNetters has kindly provided info re accessible toilets

www.changing-places.org/the_campaign.aspx

Please can I ask that u take a min to look at this website, sign up to forum or just get involved.

If you have any new buildings/ entertainment centres being built and want accessible toilets then you may want to take a look at their campaigns.

I am a member (via donations) to Mencap and Scope, I like these two Charities because of how politically active they are and changing toilets (linked with this campaign) is also on their websites.

I think that there is no choice but to go to a Radar Key scheme, to many selfish, pig ignorant people in society, not to.

What's really depressing is that there is still a need for this campaign. It's been running for years and years.

And the lack of suitable facilities means it'll be needed for more years yet.

Hi ladies, yes it is depressing as it should be a basic right.

The radar scheme is great but when visiting some of them with DD we could not change her as there was no changing table in them.

I shall be looking into Mencap and Scope too.
