To be drinking ribena and amaretto?

I'm in the last stage of food poisoning (I hope!)

I haven't eaten and wanted a drink. I thought coke would upset me more so thought dilute and amaretto.

Surprisingly it is lovely or it could be because I have a cold and my senses are all messed up.

Will I regret this or will it enhance 2014?

*Every time I read the word Amaretto, I start singing 'Show me the way to Amarillo'.

At a work Christmas party once, I asked the barman if he had Amaretto. He disappeared off for a minute, and before I knew it the DJ started playing 'Show me he way to Amarillo' The barman came back looking all pleased with himself and said 'there you go!'

I haven't eaten since the madras NYE. It started yesterday. It was its worse then

Btw I tried the Aldi amaretto on NYE and it is marvellous. Just the same as the proper stuff.

I'm gutted as I bought proper stuff when I could have spent £5

In stages of extreme boredom/loneliness I have been known to mix lemon or BC/apple squash with any given spirit in the cabinet. n.b. this would never include something vile like tequila or ouzo.
I can't say I have been able to validate this action with illness.

When I was younger I would mix the following:

lager
vodka
martini

We would drink it so we were pissed and wouldn't have to spend much when out. The "Lag-Vod-Tini" was born.

I have also mixed what ever dregs were in the house

Well my hangovers turned into the stomach bug dd had earlier in the week and I can't keep anything down I feel awful :-(

Dd conversely seems to have the different stomach bug I had last week and can't get off the toilet.

I've had to cancel breakfast out with a friend I haven't see for aaaages :-(((

Rhonda I missed new years dinner and its the best meal of the year due to this. I feel for you sister

I ordered dominos n promptly threw it ip. I'm furious.

I was going to.order just so I could get a bottle of coke but its a waste of money as wouldn't have eaten.

I did my self an amaretto and coke the other day. It tasted strange. Like Vimto. Then I looked at the can I had poured from. It wasn't coke. It was Vimto!

I drink my amaretto with ice normally though.

Try some water and a bit of toast this morning. Flat coke/lemonade/tonic water are good too if you have any of them in.

I was throwing up til around 2. The more the coughed the more I threw up.

I have a banging headache today.

Ive just attempted one slice of dominos as I was absolutely starving (don't do well with not eating) and my stomach is cramping a bit and I feel nauseous. I'm praying it stays put.

Aww sp are you sure it was food poisoning, this virus is a bugger, dd has just told me I will probably feel a bit better and then crash again in a few hours.

It was food poisoning. The gentleman who spent the early hours of new years day til late morning also has it.

I thought it was going and tried toast last night. Threw it up after a coughing fit.

No idea. It feels spongy but sore. Its moved to each side of my jaw just now. I have a poorly people thread open now.
